Important Note For All Items:
When an item says Gold Cost treat it as basic currency units in whatever story you’re playing in or running. If something has a Silver or Copper Cost treat it as 1 unit of currency and if something has a Platinum Cost treat it as 10 units of basic currency for every platinum.
Coating Property
It means you can use the item to coat something, mainly focusing on weapons, and give the coated object the properties of the item
Perishable Property
It means that the item is depleted after a limited number of uses. After that use, the item is useless and cannot be utilized again.
Damage Superiority
There is a hierarchy of types of damage with those being non-magical, magical, mystical, and godly. Each type of damage is superior to the one that came before, meaning that it would bypass resistances and immunities. EX: A magical sword that deals magical slashing would invalidate a non-magical resistance to slashing damage.
Spellcasting Focus
You can cast magic without a focus, but there are some items that can only be used by making an item your spellcasting focus. This process is an activity during a short rest where you choose an item to become your spellcasting focus. You retain your current spellcasting focus, however you will lose that bonus if you lose or switch spellcasting focuses.
