At my core, I love D&D. Despite my problems with Wizard Of The Coasts’ recent versions of the iconic game, it’s how I got really close with my friends. Over the last few years, our community has been working on this system. Starting out as an adaptation of WOTC’s fifth edition of D&D, it has become a completely different game.

Free Flowing is a system that prioritizes roleplay above all else. Instead of choosing a class or archetype, you build your character from scratch and evolve onwards by interacting with your Dungeon Masters’ world. With the game being built around cooperation with the DM, Free Flowing aims to be a system that encourages creativity, participation and communication.

At first it sounds stressful, but many have come to learn that the system is much simpler than you would think.

The home page has a section that should instantly help break you into the system and assist you with making your first character, from there things should be easy to grasp. Set apart by paths, essentially technique makers that require DM cooperation, there’s a lot you can do in this system, making up as you go along sorta thing. There’s information on the rest of the website that I’m not going to splurge here. Be sure to ask help from the contact provided or someone else that knows Free Flowing really well.

Make sure to read carefully and have fun Free Flowin!
